Non-picture post

So this blog is waaaay better when we have photographic evidence, but we are finding that taking discrete pictures of people is harder than it sounds. At some point K and I will have to go undercover as tourists of Halifax so that we can get some good pictures...until then, you may have to use some imagination.

So one of the best places to see fashion victims is on the bus. Unfortunately it's also one of the worst places to take discrete pictures because seriously, what is there on the bus that you need to legitimately take a picture of... So K and I were on the bus the other night heading out of the city to go to dinner and we see this girl sitting a few rows ahead of us with a scrunchie in her hair. Now, for me, that's enough. Scrunchies are a thing of the past and should never be thought of/worn ever again (the one exception is if you are alone in your house and are washing your face or something). However, upon closer inspection, the scrunchie was not the only questionable fashion choice. Paired with the scrunchie was a denim mini skirt, a fuzzy, shapeless, animal print bag, and (what I am assuming was) a faux-fur coat...yikes. Please tell me that she was on her way to a costume party.

Another good place to seek out those who are clueless of how to dress themselves...the mall. On our way home from dinner, K and I stopped in at the mall to pick up a few things and there was this group of girls that seriously, had they been on the street, rather than in the mall, I would have assumed they were prostitutes. Short (like barely there) denim minis, low cut, very tight tank tops, high-heeled boots, and hair that was channelling Amy Winehouse. Did I mention it was 8pm?
